In 2006, Samaan Ziadeh founded the firm with the pledge to offer the Palestinian market a trustworthy, exceptional legal counsel. He gained his initial practical experience from one of Palestine’s most reputable lawyers Maurice Ziadeh. A decade later, lawyer Zeina Jallad Charpentier, joined the firm as a senior partner.  Her years of experience in the United States, Western Asia and North Africa region (WANA) expands the firm’s renowned portfolio.

Today, our team represents a diverse range of national, regional, and international clients in both Arabic and English. While deeply rooted in Palestine, our expertise in EU, US, and other countries in the WANA region guarantees delivery on the various needs of our clients, with the highest legal standards. Our Staff

Samaan Ziadeh - Founder and Managing Partner

Samaan Ziadeh is the founder and managing partner of Samaan Ziadeh & Partners Law Firm. He is the legal representative and counsel to a number of multi-million dollar corporations and major institutions in Palestine. He practices commercial and corporate law and has extensive experience representing private investors, corporate clients, and leading financial institutions in trade, investment, private and commercial real estate transactions, intellectual property, insurance, and property issues.

Mr. Ziadeh has been a member of the Palestinian Bar Association (PBA) since 2004, and a member of the PBA’s Ethics and Disciplinary Council. He also practices law before the ecclesiastical courts. Mr. Ziadeh holds a Bachelor’s in Law from Al-Ahliya University in Amman, Jordan and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies from Birzeit University in Palestine.

Zeina Jallad Charpentier - Senior Partner

Zeina Jallad Charpentier joined Samaan Ziadeh & Partners Law Firm as a Senior Partner in 2016.  She is a lawyer, researcher and lecturer in Law, with over 15 years of experience in legal research and consulting in Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, Egypt, and the United States.

Ms. Jallad Charpentier is a member of the Palestinian Bar Association (PBA) and the New York City Bar Association (NYC Bar) – where she served as the Secretary of the Middle East and North Africa Committee.  She obtained her Bachelor’s in Law from the University of Jordan, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies from Birzeit University in Palestine, and an LL.M from Columbia University in New York City. She is currently completing her Doctorate (J.S.D.) at Columbia Law School.

Rana Rishek - Senior Associate Lawyer

Rana Rishek has a decade of experience in the fields of litigation, banking and finance, as well as corporate and commercial law. She is currently serving as the Treasurer of the Palestinian Bar Association Staff Provident Fund. She obtained her Bachelor’s in Law from Al-Quds University in Jerusalem,  and her Graduate Diploma in Practical and Legal Skills from Birzeit University.

She is currently acquiring her Master's degree in Private Law at Al Quds University. In addition Ms. Rishek is in the process of completing the Shari’a Courts’ admission to practice law before the Islamic courts in Palestine, as well as fulfilling the requirements for admission into the Israeli Bar Association.

Basel Assi - Associate Lawyer

Basel Assi focuses on labour law, corporate law, and commercial law, including e-commerce and intellectual property. Mr. Assi, a member of the Palestinian Bar Association, has written on the areas of labour law and intellectual property, and commented on multiple Court of Cassation rulings.

He holds a Bachelor’s in Law and a Master’s in Private Law from Birzeit University. He is currently in the process of completing the Shari’a Courts’ admission to practice law before the Islamic courts and preparing for his PhD in Private Law.

Ghadeer Dahadha - Associate Lawyer

Ghadeer Dahadha's expertise lies in insurance law, ruling and judgments at the execution courts, as well as land disputes.

A graduate of Birzeit University, she is a practicing lawyer admitted by the Palestinian Bar Association. Dahadha completed the necessary requirements for the Shari’a Courts admission to practice law before the Islamic courts.

Firas Ziadeh - Trainee Lawyer

Firas Ziadeh holds a Bachelor’s in Law from Birzeit University, and is currently completing his first year of traineeship. He has researched and published in the field of medical malpractice and hospital civil and criminal liabilities in Palestine.

While completing his training requirements to obtain admission before the Palestinian Bar Association, Mr. Ziadeh is obtaining the necessary knowledge and skills to practice law before the ecclesiastical courts.

Claudia Odeh - Trainee Lawyer

Claudia Odeh holds a Bachelor’s in Law from Birzeit University and is currently completing her Master’s in Commercial Law at Arab American University.

While Ms. Odeh is completing her training requirements to obtain admission before the Palestinian Bar Association, she is obtaining the necessary knowledge and skills to practice law before the ecclesiastical courts.
